Looks like there is a new Carver/Marquis out there. Never thought I would see an express from this builder.

At least they gave it a full roof. Dunno what Cobalt was thinking when they failed to do this for their new yacht?!?!

  3. Carver used to build an express. After the old Bertram-Trojan went bankrupt and the Italians bought Bertram, Carver bought Trojan and built the 44 Trojan Express by Carver. This boat designed by the old Bertram team, built by Carver and called a Trojan. Here is a picture of one, much less money than the new Carver Express!!!

I finally got to see the current version of this model at our boat show. The central placement of the helm was interesting. I think most boats this size have it up against the side?

I think that centered helm seat is great. Once I get my girl into it she can't escape which she'll surely want to do when a boat with taste comes by. Seem to remember it having a great point out back to bump you off the platform.

Maybe that 300 gallon fuel tank is a bit too much. Wouldn't want her to get too far offshore . . .

    ..... that's funny Pascal! :D

Seriously, don't discount this boat. We did a review on it last year because I thought it was an exceptional effort. There are a lot of good ideas incorporated into the new Marquis sport yacht... and not just design. Take a look...
