Moonen sells first yacht in Caribbean Series, 36.6M 'Martinique'​

Recently YF published about Moonen's offering of a Caribbean series of yachts to attract interest and sales. One of them was recently sold, the 36.58-meter 'Martinique' model. As a quick reminder, Moonen offered six designs ranging from 26 to 38-meters LOA all named after islands in the Caribbean and the 'Martinique' model is the one sold.

Just looking at the design it is very easy to note the typical Moonen lines throughout but definitely the refreshed and sharper lines giving an overall, more modern appeal. Even the interior will have a modern layout and design reflecting the modern drive Moonen is going after. The Moonen Martinique rises over three internal decks and a spacious open-air sundeck. Sunpadded region is wrapped around the front of the mast and connected to the jacuzzi. Aft is open space for the fitting of loose outdoor furniture and the stairs to take you to the deck below. The semi-custom motoryacht will be built in high-tensile steel offering sturdy construction but a comparative lighter weight. Basically, a lighter yacht should offer faster displacement speeds. The first Moonen Martinique superyacht is envisioned to be launched in 2016.
