MondoMarine Project 500 new build​

This new build, touted as Project 500 by MondoMarine, is in the form of an explorer styled yacht. At 45.05-meters long she will feature an ice-classed hull and an aluminum superstructure. With delivery to be expected in 24-months from signing of contract, some optional features can still be worked out.

For example, the engine package can upgraded to electrical sets to allow for the option of switching to electrical propulsion when needed especially when underway at night. However, if the standard engine package is chosen then 2 X CAT C32 634 Kw engines are expected aboard Project 500. She is expected to cruise at 14 knots with slightly higher speed for her maximum.

Another option for Project 500 is the incorporation of a helipad. Although the current design does not adopt a helipad, this can be added if the owner chooses. The pad will be a touch and go pad and not expected to be one to house a helicopter for extended periods.

Project 500, is expected to play host to up to twelve guests. They will be slept in five guest staterooms and a master stateroom. The 45.05-meter explorer type vessel has naval architecture by Hydro Tec, featuring strong, clean and modern lines.
