Needed: Engineer

Description - Engineer required for August 22, 2006. Minimum qualifications MCA Y4 with MTU endorsement or Y3. Must have or be able to aquire US visa. Cayman Islands, commercial registry.

44 Meter 2001 Trinity motor yacht. Refit in 2005 at Trinity Yachts shipyard. Refit included hull and keel extension, new sewage treatment system, new zero speed stabilizers, all new paint plus a handfull of other projects.

Vessel is maintained with an excellent operating budget. Owner has given strict instructions to mainitain all systems to perfect operating condition. Present engineer has implemented a detailed preventative maintainence schedule which new engineer must continue to run. All engineering files and logs are updated on a daily basis and new engineer must be able to continue with this schedule. A clean, organized and extremely detail oriented attitude is a must.

Great opportunity for a young enthusiastic engineer to join a young team of various nationalities on a great yacht. Average age of crew is 28. Captain is 36.

MUST BE NON-SMOKER.

Team position with 2nd stew considered.

Vessel is presently located in South of France. Will stay in the Med until end of September then load onto Dock Express for transport back to Fort Lauderdale. 3 week yard period in Lauderdale to complete several minor upgrades and repairs and also undergo MCA 5-year survey. Vessel will then head to the Carib. for the winter season. 4-5 weeks of charter per season with 3-4 weeks of owner use per season.
