My admiral passed away last evening. She wants her ashes scattered of Stone Harbor and Wildwood, NJ. Is there a service for this or does anyone know of a boat I could charter to do this. Thank you in advance.

So sorry to hear of your loss!

Try contacting the Neptune Society; they have a branch in NJ. You might also try posting with a different title: "Need assistance from NJ boaters." Perhaps there is a YF member in the area that could assist or offer advice.

Please forgive me if this sounds tacky, but make sure when scattering ashes that you are upwind.

Wishing you much comfort and solace.

Neptune Society should have contacts they can share.

I found a charter outfit out of Ocean City, NJ that does this as well as other things. When we have things finalized I just have to call Captain Mike and we will set a date.
