Navionics sounding numbers

    The sounding numbers in Navionics appear to be something other than soundings. In the attached image, the soundings show 45 but the info pop-up shows 6-12. Am I reading these numbers wrong? AquaMaps shows correct soundings. Actually, the government chart in Navionics shows correctly. Just the nautical and sounding charts show these strange numbers.

    I figured it out. My iPhone with the same app shows correctly so I compared. Go to menu -> chart options. There is a slider for water level. Make sure it is set to zero. Mine was set to 48on my iPad. That was adding 48’ to the sounding numbers.

    Looks like it is a feature so you can adjust water level on lakes.

    And it changes on its own for no reason. When it does, there will Be a warning symbol in the lower right corner of the chart
