Lars, does that sight calculate "as the crow flies" or does it go around the land masses?

Btw, you'll have to speak up, I've just found out how far away from everybody I am.

I have not checked the way it calculates, but it seems to go where the boats go. Or you can use the flight calculator on the same site to see the difference.

To fly Melbourne - Stockholm nonstop is 8.194 nm.
To sail it is 12.082 nm...

But via YachtForums in Florida it is only a foot or rather a hand away...
