Over the past few weeks we've been bombarded by bots. To register, they need to answer a Captcha question. Over the years, I've kept these questions simple so new members don't get frustrated, but make them nautical in nature to weed out the people who don't have a sincere interest in our topic. Here are some sample questions and answers... Q. The crustaceans that stick to the underside of vessels are called? A. Barnacles Q. What was the name of the boat in Gilligan's Island? A. Minnow. Q. Mooring lines are tied to...? A. Cleats Questions need to be difficult enough to weed out bots, but not humans. It's best if the questions don't have well-defined answers on the internet. Even better if the answer is crystal clear to boat-minded folks. I need some good Q&As to battle the bots. Post 'em up!
