So the deal finally closed last month & I thought my old Bertram 50 was off to new territory.
    Nope.
I hear the new owner had some trouble at work & his accountant said the boat has to go:eek: Poor guy owned it for less than three weeks.

So, I drive by my old girl almost every day. The day the deal closed, I was getting a few last things off. I took a last look around & thought of all the places & fun that was had on board & kinda felt sad.....until........
I then paid off every last bill I had, bought a mint '59 El Camino & a few new fire arms, ordered my wife's new kitchen, & started planning a few summer trips on the Hatteras!!!:p

Now go back and buy the boat for 65% of what he paid you for it and sell it again.

    I picked up a '94 50 Hatt conv. with 12v183 MTUs.
It's a one owner boat, little old guy picked it up at the Palm Beach show new & it had only 1500 hrs when I got it. One engine sucked up something & had a major overheat so it came out in pieces, J&T completely rebuilt it & then the owner said to sell.
So, I got a deal (under$180k shhhhhh) but I had to have the bulkhead opened up to get the engine installed. $20k operation done by J&J (beyond excellent work by the way).
It super clean, always lived up north & wasn't fished. I'll fix that though!
