    I need some parts for this vintage controller on my sloop. The shift lever suddenly went stiff and disassembly showed cracked Nylon bushings and a bent retainer ring. Does anyone know the maker? I thought Morse, but there is no name on it.

    Hi,

    I have no idea who made it but would think that nylon bushings could be made by any 1/2 competent machine shop fairly cheaply, likewise I would be surprised if the retaining ring is a custom made item.

    Take the problem parts to a bearing supply place they might be able to help you with the ring and maybe the bushes as well.
