    I learned today that Mitch Neff, the president of Sparkman & Stephens in NY, passed away after a bout with cancer. Mitch was a great industry representative who always could be counted upon to represent the brokerage community and sailing enthusiasts in the best possible fashion. Just wanted to share this thought with those who knew Mitch.

    Thanks for the news, Mike.

    So sad. While I only spoke with him on the phone on occasion, he was a classy guy in the business and will be missed by many.

    Mitch said "you are too young for a bowthruster!"

    If you haven't read the nice stuff written about Mitch by Greg at S&S you should do so. I worked with Mitch a lot of years and there is a lot there most folks never knew about.
