    Hi,

A bit of googling revealed the relative size difference between these big yachts.

To answer Yachtluvers question Octopus would look big next to Prince Abdul Aziz even though it is 20m shorter it is a lot more volume.

    Platinum 161.5m and 11,600 GRT

    Sunflower 160m and 11,600 GRT

Prince Abdul Aziz 148m and 4,620 GRT

Al Salamah 141.75m and 12,234 GRT

Rising Sun 132m and 7600m GRT

    Octopus 127m and 9,932 GRT

Le Grand Bleu 112m and 5317 GRT

Lady Moura 104.8m and 6359 GRT

Limitless 96m and 299 GRT, Some problem here with these numbers that supposedly came from the US Shipping register, it has to be much biggger than that.

Hi, I think Limitless got some special treatment to fit in as a US flagged vessel. This is no longer possible why she will forever remain the largest yacht in this category. Don´t ask me how it happened...

As you all know GRT is not refering to the weight of the vessel but potential cargo capacity. I believe in this calculation that one of the measuments taken is the diamentions of the openings to the potential cargo space. As well as the lowest opening port to the waterline.

I guess it helps to know people in high places, as she got classified as a recreational vessel.
