Talking about mega-tenders, lets not forget "LGB's" Sunseeker 75 Predator kept on deck as common yachtsman would store his 5ft inflatable tender!

Or also "Octopus" 70ft tender (Man-of-War) kept inside a stern garage.... there's no more limit to a tender today for certatin owners!

    Superyacht tenders

If I own a motoryacht is this one the best for me! It is a Jongert 25 (ft.) (One of my favourites) :) That is the x-tender of Benetti's x-My Way.

By the way, I think that is one of the coolest way to carrying a tender

Now the Benetti is renamed Aladina, and she carries two jetskis in place of this beautiful sailboat...

How big is the megayacht? 40m Yacht and the main tender to Octopus is not a good choose...Octopus and a 4m RIB (one or two) isn't also a good choose.

A RIB with class and elegance! :) :) Never thought I would see it. Beautiful styling, first class appointments. This one is better for the passengers with the canopy overhead.

AMG what do you think the speed is with Yanmar 315s, 50 knots?

With twin Yanmar 315hp diesel/Bravo 1, the top speed is 55 knots, cruising at 45 knots consuming 1.64 l/nm (0.82/engine). With twin 600 hp petrol the top speed is 75-80 knots...

A better choice would be the new Yanmar 480s with Arneson drives, should see 65-70 knots, still pretty fast.

You can probably have it if you like, today they use a gearbox and XR drives on these Yanmars. The guy behind this project have a RIB-cat with a 1.000+ hp Merlin V8 and a Speedmaster VI drive that has set a world speed record for RIB:s with over 100 knots, so he is open to anything that is fast... ;)
