I have the Volvo Penta trim tab system on my boat. I have been plagued with leaky rams outside the boat and leaky hydraulic lines inside the boat. Also, the LED indicators at the helm keep burning out. Anyone else having the same problem? My dealer is doing their best to correct the issue but not getting much cooperation from the manufacture. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Did you ever fix your trim tab problem? I have the same issue in 2022 on my 2007. If so, please let me know what you did.
When my Marquis 59 was going through survey prior to our purchase the trim tab cylinders were leaking. The previous owner changed the trim tabs over to Bennetts, dumped the volvo stuff. I don't think it was that big of deal, the yard was able to match up the mountings. All that said, not sure I can really see a lot of impact of the trim tabs. I rarely ever hit the switch any more.
