    Hi All,
not too much activity on this brand. I am looking at a 2011 Marquis 500 Sports Coupe with about 700 hours on the triple IPS 600.

Anyone have any relevant experience or thoughts on pre-purchase issues?

    Thanks,
    Kirk

    Hi Kirk,
Not familiar with Marquis, never seen one other than online on yachtworld.
I can imagine why one would like the aesthetic and design of this Coupe.
My only reason to reply is the thought of have to service three engines and pods is a no go for me no matter the boat's design and price.
Three engines and pods? No thank you.

DK much about them, but checked out a few Marquis at boat shows and think I remember moving a couple over the years although not the 50. Have nothing overly good or bad to say, but one thing that bothered me was that point over the swim platform that directs people overboard. It's a bit glitzy for my taste and I'm not a fan of black hulls and hull windows. I also agree with gr8trn that there are less costly and complicated ways of getting 26kt cruise without messing with a 3rd motor and pod.

Neighbor of mine had a 59 a few years back, took it to bimini. Good boat... middle of the range, nothing great nothing bad

triples on a 50 footer? That ER must not be fun to work in
