I'm attending a Man engine school on Saturday at Mans office in Pompano. Its a short training class they put on regularly before the boat shows in S. Fl. Cost is $200 but for me it should be well worth it.

    Capt J,
I think most of it is the basics. How to change oil, filters, fuel filters, and general maintenance. Nothing major.

    Man school today

Went to the Man engine school today. Very helpful and informative. Learned how to change oil, filters, fuel filters, impellers, air filters and general service. How to use the emergency operation units, alarms, belt adjusting, engine circuit breaker locations, and much more.
Capt J as you stated they recommend you wash the engines down on a regular basis.
For $200 it was well worth it.
