Going through the marina today I noticed this yacht. I haven't seen this one in Milwaukee before but it does have Milwaukee listed as it's home port.

I'm wondering what make and size this yacht is. I could only make out Northstar. I don't know if that's the make or the name of the yacht.

Any ideas? There was some small name badge that had 2 words on the side but I couldn't make out what it said. My wife thinks it was something like Choley for the first word but I can't be sure.

Your wife was very close. The yacht in your photos is a Cheoy Lee. Cheoy Lee's were built out of Hong Kong for many years and now they are built in China. I believe she is their 72 Raised Pilot House. Carl has done a test on a Cheoy Lee 68' Sport Yacht.

lwrandall - Thanks for the response. I did a web search and it is the 72 raised pilot house.

For the next test what about this one. The name of this one is New Moon. Again wondering builder and size.

AMG - Great Link. Where would I go to find out what it would cost to charter this yacht? There aren't any links on the page and the main page where all the yachts are listed says to contact your favorite broker...

Never mind. Did some web searching and found you can charter it for $28,500 per week!!!! That could pay off my current boat!

Add another 30% on that and you are getting closer. Then you often have air fares and other expenses so it is not for free, even if the owner rarely makes a profit on charter. It is just a contribution to the boat and to keep the crew busy...
