As Yachtnews said the 91m project "Orchid" was launched today at Lürssens' facility in Rendsburg.
That is why I started a new thread for her. I am still waiting for more photos but so far I think she is REALLY beautiful.

The lights on her cost more than most of the boats do that posters here own.

Great design, and I'd imagine that lighting system would be pricey.

I have seen today a report about a new coating which can light at the touch of a button. Who knows, perhaps they will incorporate this also on superyachts soon. From a designers perspective this offers you the opportunity to work out their creativity and create even more complex light schemes.

    Just a thought...

Kismet, year 2014, 95.2m and 2,928GT has been sold for € 149M ish.
    Lady Lara, year 2015, 91.0m and 2,945GT asking price € 230M.

    Quite a difference!

One is completely first hand, the other is for rent. This is a very important factor for a super yacht
This is the first thing to look for in sales.

    Good point.
I didn't consider that. My thoughts were about the layouts.
In my opinion, Kismet has a very bad layout. I love bright and big spaces, and Kismet has that staircase in the middle of the main deck and a dark palette.
I would change almost everything except for the spa.
So, if I had to buy it, I would have considered the refit costs for the interiors.

She has a ridiculous asking price. If you know the actual sale price of some of these recent sales, you will see how overpriced she is.
