Hi I just joined this forum I live on a 48 ft C&L and I am looking for little flexible covers that cover the edge of hose clamp bands, does anybody know where I can get these? Any help would be appreciated.

    Good resources for small parts

    • A local fastener specialty shop
    • McMaster-Carr
    • Fastenal
    • Grainger

While you have to do the legwork and ask around to find the first one (certainly your boatyard would know of one, or a repair garage or machine shop certainly would) the other three have websites and the last two also have many storefront locations.

Thank you for the input, the google timy url thing worked out really well yes I know Chevelle loves doing that but I love using it. So double thanks for that. Long story short I purchased some Clamp-aid covers from ebay and I will let you know how they turn out, so far they have great feedback on Ebay anyway. I should have them by the end of the week

Thank you everybody for your input, like I said I bought some clamp-aid covers from ebay. Last weekend I got around to putting them all over my boat and so far I like them they fit nice and snug. I will have to take some pictures and post them as soon as I clean the engine room.

That was cool. I have about a million people I would like to do that to. Can you tell me how to initially set it up? WITHOUT SENDING ME TO WWW.TINYURL.COM? :D
