I could use some able bodied seamen for this summer's charter in Merry Olde England. Must have strong bladder. Rowing experience a plus!:D

That's a really neat looking boat. I bet you'd make a grande entrance at any marina you went to......

We're they really rowing that thing today in the parade? Between wind and current I have a feeling they have an auxiliary running back there

Threre were loads of the damded things slowing the show down. Only one boat failed to make it all the way, a Venetian gondola.

The Queen had to stand there for 4 hours in the pouring rain and winds, still multi world champion Steve Curtis never turned up in a Superboat at full speed. :D:D

I was there. Just got home tonight. We were standing on Tower Bridge in the pouring rain. There were all manner of human powered vessels in the flotilla. Quite a sight! It looked like three or four smalls boats were in tow when they got near the end. There was a flood tide so there appeared to be very little current. But the wind was on the nose in the final stretch. A beautiful sight but the weather absolutely sucked.

Between the Jubilee and the Summer Olympics the folks in the tourist trade and souvenirs must be making a fortune. This would include people renting out their homes/flats etc for the events.
