So as the year comes to a close, it will soon be the London Boat Show at Excel.

Check out http://www.londonboatshow.com/ for more details.

    7th - 15th Jan

Me and Jon will be spending a couple of days sitting at the Sunseeker Champagne Bar I'm sure.

Any one else heading to the show?

Any one know of any of the boats debuting at the show?

I'm looking forward to seeing the Sunseeker Portofino 47 Hardtop

Seems to me this is Sunseekers version of the Sealine SC29, only bigger. Still, looks great! Think most of the major launches were in Soton.

Although i did read somewhere that the Azimut 43S will be at the show. Interested to see that.

    Champagne bar

Hi everyone, Ill be heading over to see the show if I can get a Ryanair flight for the right price ;) would love to meet up for a chat with any fellow forum members and to find out how does one actually get onto the Sunseeker Champagne bar, apart from being fortunate enough to own one of thier boats?

well, they have a Champagne bar for everyone who can afford it, but i also beileve they have another bar, elsewhere! ;)

FYI Sealine also have a Champagne bar.

Let us know what day you are going tartanski and perhaps we can get a YF get together type thing! :) Be good to put some faces (and real names) to the user names :)

Also, just received an update on the London Show: It seems they are filming this years Boat Show programme live! You can enter a competition to win the chance to buy tickets! lol Hosted by James May this year (from Top Gear) so should be funny, maybe! :)

    Hi everyone,

I have just returned to Cyprus after visiting the London Boat Show, where I have spent 99% of my time viewing Sunseekers. The Portofino 47 is basically the 46 with a hardtop and a redesigned cockpit and interior (which BTW looks extremely cool!). I also visited Azimut where the only open boat is the 68S - no 43S, I'm afraid.

The boat I fell in love with was the 4-cabin Predator 72.

    Best regards

    Emilios
