Just curious...on YF, we have a wonderful list of Naval Architects and Designers. I was wondering about the possibility of adding/creating a list of companies who do the interior builds. I am familiar with companies like Metrica as well as an Austrian company called List. I am sure there are numerous other companies in other countries that also do excellent work..

    Many thanks,

"Die Oldenburger" from northern Germany. They made the interior of Vitters' "African Queen" (now Ven d'est) and "Nirvana". Also some Lürssen Builds: Oldenburger Möbelwerkstätten GmbH: Referenzen

Alv Klintscher makes Yacht Interiors (Design and Building) and there was a Company called "Bröwer" near Osnabrück, Germany. Website is down. I don't know if they are still in business.

Yes, many yacht interior manufacturers come from Germany:
Metrica - one of the first in that buisness and also in aviation involved
    metrica® INTERIOR

    Bsw - another big player
    bsw-yachteinrichter.com

    Gehr
Home - GEHR - Yacht and Aircraft Interior
All german manufacturers have also many references coming from Holland.

    Dutch manufacturers:
    Struik& Hammerslag
Struik & Hamerslag Yacht Interiors and Refit - Homepage

    Hogenelst
    http://www.hogenelst.nl/

    From UAE:
    Greeline yacht interiors

I do not know any italian manufactureres but there must be some reputable ones because Viareggio Superyachts is to my knowledge the only yard which used north european interior manufacturers...I could be wrong.

"Bestattungsinstitut" (means a firm of undertakers) sounds a little bit strange associated with Superyachts oO

    Hi,

They do the full range, yacht interiors, home kitchens and when their charges cause people to drop dead they can handle that as well.

Rodiek was started by an Abekings Carpenter with assistance of the late Herman Schaedla as the need to expand the woodwork operation became apparent. They also do a bit for Lurssen and others but are predominately Abekings Interior Outfitters.

Is it true that Rodiek can only work for other if A&R gives their OK?

    Hi,

I don't know for sure. As what seems to be a separate operation I think they can bid anywhere but Abeking get first dibs on the production

    Rodiek

Company was founded 1933 by Alfred Rodiek. Todays owner Klaus had a very good relationship to Herman Schaedla and is completely independent and can do all sorts of work everywhere. Due to the long and successful relationship to Abeking most of their capacities are booked by Abeking but they do works for Lurssen and others, too.

I know that English is a 2nd language for many of our readers, but based on Hanse's writing, his English is good. He ignored the Rules regarding promotion, mentioned three times during the registration process. K1W1 already supplied a link to the company in this thread.
