    I'm looking into changing the 12 volt cabin light over to LED and I'm not sure of the base socket type.

    I think they are 1156, but not 100% sure and the boat is still under winter wrap.

    If it's a bayonet socket then it will most likely be a 1156, a common 12 Volt automotive bulb.
