    Hey guys
We are going to pull out and need to find the lifting points on a 43 motor yacht. (steel) We have 3 in the harbor and non of them are marked.

Tough to tell without knowing what type of boat it is. Rule of thumb though is just aft or right under the engine and the forward strap about ten feet back from the bow at the water line (check for thru hulls first). If your hauling at a yard they usually know where to place the straps.

    Hi,

Any full bulkheads you can use in line with the slings?

Even the ends of integral tanks are slightly better than just frames or between frames.

    Lifting points

Thanks for all the help:) this is a great place for information. Looks like the best place to lift is the forward bulkhead separating the stateroom and galley.
Then count two stateroom windows back about two feet past the bulkhead separating the aft stateroom and salon areas. The keel actually protects the shafts. We found the lift sticker on a 1962 44' and later confirmed with a marina crane operator. We should have the 43' out today and I'm getting antsy to see the bottom. Many thanks and will have pics coming.....Scully
