Please can anybody help/advise.....I have a Bavaria Cruiser 56 with a Lewmar Direct Drive Autopilot. Since we purchased there has been a noise, only when autopilot is engaged. I'm not sure if it is the gear, bearings or a motor issue. I have attached a video with audio for reference. To me it sounds like something is loose, maybe the gears? There is very little regarding this unit online and so would appreciate any assistance. Joe
Just an update on my earlier post. I took the motor off and the plastic gears were all dry and a little loose but no wear. I added grease and now the only noise is the drive motor. Just in case this is is of any use for someone else. Joe71
