An expedition type MY built in 1981 with skin-diving in mind. Powered by smaller Mercedes-Benz diesels she had a great cruising range.
I was the broker who had this yacht for sale with the previous owner and am very familiar with her. As a point of information, after extensively researching Leubeck, I came to the conclusion that Leubeck is a town in Germany and the "unknown" builder named her construction after the city. This is by no means a judgment of the yacht, just a point of clarification that IMHO Leubeck Yachts per se does not exist. Additionally, although she has cruised extensively, I believe the original intent was also as a low profile European canal boat and the radar arch and upper helm were later additions. Lest my comments be mistaken, I like this vessel very much. Judy Waldman JW Yachts (954) 894-8844 jwyachts@earthlink.net
Makes sense... ...what with that narrow beam. Appreciate the clarification on her name and place of manufacture also. I too found this yacht very interesting. Seemed extremely heavily built.
