OK, I’m getting tired of not being able to find a dock cart when I need one. What do you folks like for folding dock carts? I need something that folds so I can keep it in the back of an SUV. I load the carts pretty good with cases of drinks, food, gear, etc. And I have steep ramps when tide is low. Who has real world experience and product recommendations? Thanks!

The Tipke 2100 is going to be your best bet. You'll want to overload it, but if you stick to the 350' limit and distributed evenly, you'll be OK.

We had a Tipke and while it is a great cart on the dock it was a PITA to fold and took a lot of space

i prefer the soft side folding cart like this one

avoid those with wide wheels as they harder to pull. Unless we carry heavy stuff, we have it attached to the bag rack of a folding bike with a soft shackle since our pier is very long.

I go with the sporting goods folding wagons. They get compact enough. They can be loaded with weekend provisions, guitars, dog food, what have you.
If you think of them as disposable that is the way to go. They rust out and or wheels fall off in a matter of time.

I once went to a very swish marina, Sardinia I think, that had a couple of electric carts. You had to go to the Marina Office to get the keys and leave a large deposit with them.

The carts were battery powered and could easily take 500lbs of gear/shopping in one go. Heck, they made life easy. Drinks and water could be on the boat in a moment, all Cook's food stores would be at the passerelle in 2 trips. Worth every penny.

I'm a fan of Gorilla Cart's products. Haven't experienced their folding unit.
