    Take a look at the following photo taken from Google Earth..

    Large yacht

    Any idea's what it is, besides BIG..

    Looks like one of the G-class trimarans... according to the Google Earth scale, it's about a 115-120 feet long.

    Its a trimaran for sure....you can also see many other small trimarans and catamarans....inside of the breakwater i suppose?

    I should have mentioned its in Nawiliwili Bay on Kauai.

    According to google maps tape measure, its about 110 feet.

    Trimaran in Nawiliwili

    That thing is an old derelict, rotting away in the back of the bay. As far as I know it has never had a rig, and hasn't moved in many many years. The Kauai lore is that it was locally built by a dreamer who thought he could compete in "The Race" on a budget of $6. The back of the bay is as far as he got.
