    I have been a First Officer for five years and thinking about making the move ashore. Any ideas about what sector to move into?

    I have my Cheif Mate (yacht) 3000GT. Doesn´t seem to be that well recognised onshore!!

    I have a strong background in safety management but I would like to go into somthing like marina managent in the UK. I realise there is a lot of competition for a position like this so I am keeping my options open at the moment. Not the best time to move ashore either!!
