watch out everyone! With all the rain over the last two months, the sound is littered with junk. I’ve seen two massive heavy equipment tires, one truck tire and we just pulled a 60 foot oil boom out of the water that it floated up to our dock. I’ve heard others talking about trees, telephone poles, and railroad ties too. Night time is a crapshoot but at least keep your eyes peeled during the day
Pennsylvania opens up the spillway on the Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River to alleviate the heavy rains. With the flow goes all the accumulated trash & debris that's been held back by the dam. It makes the upper Chesapeake Bay a dangerous place to boat for many days afterward.
