    A center console owner is replacing his rotted wood deck. He has been considering finishing it with KiwiGrip but is not happy with the $150(+/-) per gallon price. Is there a non skid at Home Depot or ?? that might serve as well? Thanks.

    In my basement shower that has a concrete floor I use white oil based paint and mix some sand in. The sand must be completely dry. Oil & water don't mix.

    I use green on my basement steps, same method. Oil based paint adheres well to wood as long as its not rotted or has a high moisture content.

    Google "non-skid additives", all kinds of stuff to put in regular paint, out there;
