Anyone here have any experience with the Jets vacuum toilet/waste systems?

My original plan was to pull the old system off the burger (which is done - all toilets, lines, and pump removed) and then install new 12/24vdc raritan macerator heads. The trouble is, I have no good place to fit a decent size holding tank.

The old vacuum system was able to push the waste into the existing tank which is mounted up in the ceiling of the engine room.

After talking with Raritan tech support, their toilets won't overcome the length of the runs and then the rise of roughly 7' to get into the existing tank, so if I were to installed the Raritan's I need a new holding tank set lowe in the boat.

So now I'm talking to a vendor out of FL about the Jets pump and heads. The system seems pretty nice. The only thing I don't like is that it's AC powered, so in order to turn of the gennies I'll need an inverter to keep power to them overnight when on the hook.

Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated.

Holding rank in the ceiling of the ER?? That’s pretty dumb…. Why not relocate the tank?

an alternative would be to have a small holding tank down low and use a pump capable of moving the waste to the main tank. A Dometic Vacuflish pump should
Be able to do that. You could set it up so that it triggers when a head is flushed with a timer to turn off after whatever time it takes to transfer the waste.

I used to run an 84 with headhunter heads which use gravity. It used to have a small tank near the stern for the master and crew head also by with a 240v headhunter pump to move waste to the main forward tank. That pump would run whenever a head was flushed

I thought about relocating the tank. The issue is that I have nowhere good to install a new, sizable tank. Then I thought about your idea of a smaller tank with a pump to transfer it into the larger, existing tank. The trick with that, though, is if I'm going to install a vacuum pump tied into the heads, I might as well just put in a vacu system.

This Jets system seems to operate the heads with just the water pressure. No electrical hookups at the toilets. Speaking with the rep, it seems pretty robust, very few special components (other than the valve system in the toilet and the vacuum pump in the ER). Doesn't seem like a Dometic system with all of its little frustrations, but who knows until you install it.

What jet system is that ? Headhunter use water pressure/jet to flush and just needs power to a switch to open the solenoid valve.

the dometic vacufusj pump i mentioned to transfer is just a bellow pump. It doent require vacuum or anything. It s the same pump used used to empty holding tanks overboard.

So it s really a vacuum system, not “water jet”. Looks way too complicated

And they lost me at ESG….
