Charles model 93-IXFMR12-A, 12 KVA. Fully operational. Removed from my 2007 Carver when I switched to the iso-boost model. An iso transformer provides effective shore power isolation. New units are about $2000 and take weeks for delivery. Will sell for $990 FOB Charleston, SC. It is crated and ready for truck shipment. 16" D X 15 " W X 12" H, 235 lbs.

Question, is this suitable for my US boat equipped with two 110/60hz two 16k air conditioners , at (old) European style 220/50hz dock power?

FYI, at the dock at Curacao we have 2 phase 127v/50hz , 1 zero and 1 ground!

Your question is best directed to an electrical specialist but I can tell you this. The transformer is 12 KVA (continuous), 50 amp and on my boat I have one 48k , one 24 k and one 16 k air cons, all operated through this transformer with 50 amp, 220v input. The nameplate shows 120/240 v, 50/60 Hz, single phase. Suggest you go online to Charles' website for more technical details. I am not enough of an expert to state explicitly but I believe it would work just fine for you. Provide an email address and I can send you a copy of the nameplate.

Check the copper reclaim price. I just sold one under the same conditions. The buyer asked about returns if it didn't work (not a worry to me). I reminded him that it was worth more as scrap that the shipping and selling price.
