Hello. I am hopefully purchasing a 1987 Ocean Yachts 38 SS. The survey revealed moisture in the deck core. Before I move ahead I am trying to determine whether the deck core is balsa or something else. I would appreciate it if I could get the manual to see if it states what the core is made of. I read some where that Ocean Yachts started using divinycell in the mid 1980s. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

I did buy the 87 OY 38 and would like to see your owner's manual if it's not too much trouble. Mine came with a Norpro generator--if you have anything on that I'm interested in that too. Thanks!

Sure thing. I don't have that genny Westerbeke in mine. But have original manual in a binder. I could copy all and send snail mail or scan for electronic copy. Teaching classes today and moving this weekend. In a hurry? Or I can do it this weekend sometime.
