Maybe it's just me... but when one is running out of room on a 400'+ yacht and is considering a shadow boat... doesn't an old 147 footer seem kinda' small, defeating the purpose?

Why doesn't he just build a larger yacht?

You're not alone Kevin. The use of Zein as a Shadow for Octupus is like asking Sputnik to tail the Starship Enterprise.

Paul is well known for his philanthropic endeavors. My guess is... he's going to preserve a piece of yachting history. If this news is true, I have a pretty good idea where he learned about it. ;)

So... I guess this is as good a time as any. Paul, you wanna chime in?

I'd say that would be a much more worthy endeavour.

If Octopus really is getting full, he could just buy Rising Sun and convert that into a hauler. ;)

Whether the story is true or not. Lets hope someone, with the necessary amount of money can step in and restore her to her former glory. It would be tragic to lose this peice of yachting history.
