For the owner and guest accommodations, there is a full width master stateroom with his and hers heads, plus two comfortable guest cabins with heads ensuite. In addition there is a private study adjacent to the master equipped with a built-in Pullman bed, for those occasions when an extra cabin is needed. To support a grand level of service, the crew quarters consist of three cabins: A private captain’s cabin with head ensuite, a spacious crew cabin also with head ensuite, and a crew lounge with full entertainment, laundry, and cooking facilities. The woodwork throughout INGOT is exquisitely crafted with subtly stained and semi-gloss finished American cherry, complemented by designer fabrics from Brunschwig&Fils, Clarence House, Scalamandre, Bailey & Griffin, and Pierre Frey, in a variety of bright & muted blues and greens, utilizing both solid colors and intricate floral patterns. Generous application of deep-radiused corners, bullnosed counter edging, recessed panel, and curved faced cabinetry throughout provides ample evidence of the craftsmanship that has evolved to a fine art at the Burger Boat Company. A splendid combination of granite, marble, and Corian, is utilized for counter surfaces, shower enclosures, and those cabin soles which are not carpeted. Most of the interior hardware is by Jado. Headroom throughout is minimally 7', creating a light open atmosphere enveloped in a rich and classical decor. CONSTRUCTION DETAILS: Aluminum #5086 hull and superstructure with four watertight transverse bulkheads. Internal hull framing is both longitudinal and athwart ship. For sound reduction, bulkheads are isolated from the hull shell plating, with insulation from the waterline up. Additionally, all mechanical equipment is isolation mounted. A double bulkhead separates the mechanical rooms from the stateroom section of the yacht. Particular attention is given to the exterior paint at Burger to ensure long life. Windows, doors, lighting fixtures, and hardware are isolated from the structure to create a seamless paint system. Burger’s state of the art paint facility provides an environment of minimal dust while maintaining proper temperature and humidity throughout the application process. Thanks to Burger’s attention to detail, along with the commitment of the present owners’ and their crew, INGOT today looks as good as she did when she was launched in June of 1998. REMARKS: INGOT was custom built using only the finest materials available.
