    Hello everyone,
As I am new to the larger boat world and I am looking into buying the Bertram 410. I would like it equipped with the "Lower Control Helm Station" as well as having the Cummings 8.3s with pod drives. I see you can get the 8.3 with the Zeus System is that correct?

Also I assume with the lower control helm you would get the full tinted windshield also, right? Sorry but like I said this style of boat would be new to us as we have been lake goers mostly.

Never seen these with a lower station other than a cockpit station (for backing down on fish). With such a major change you might be better off looking at a different boat where a lower station is a standard option.

I checked the bertram website and the 410 does actually have a lower helm station as an option, Im not too sure about the pod drives however

Well from all I have read as long as you don't go bigger then the 8.3s you can run the pod drives. With all the bonuses from the pod drives it would be worth the little extra $$$

Yes lower helm station is available since 2009. I don't if they did deliver an actual boat with this format yet. If you plan to do a cruise fish 50/50 split I would suggest this option though.
Don't know about the pods but. So far Ferretti Group onwers of Bertram have not used a single pod unit on all of there boats, and as far I know this is not available on the 410.
Things might change now with the ZF (Zeus) units, as ZF is a big supplier to FG. But so far have not seen any use of them, even tough ZF has gone independent from the Mercruiser agreement for over a year now.
