    On another thread, we were searching for info on Carvers...and appreciate the feedback we received. Another boat that we are seriously considering is the Chris-Craft 381 Catalina, mid to late 80's. Would appreciate any information/experiences on this boat. We posted a thread in the Chris-Craft section, but so far no responses, so thought we'd try here in the general forum.

    I noticed your location is Georgian Bay ... One of the coolest places I visited one summer was Parry Sound on the Georgian Bay ... little motor boat out to one of the islands ... stayed for a week. Still think about it. The water in the island cottage was lightly filtered but people would drink directly from the sound!

    Liked the little community.

    Good luck with your purchase ... I like the old Chris Craft's but have no particular knowledge on them ... sorry.
