When I saw this the inside my head voice was saying FERCHRISTSAKETHISCAN"TBEREAL but I'm still laughing.:D
You really have to wonder sometimes about the people that design things without thinking.

In yachting the results are usually sad, this lightswitch is just plain funny.
That being said, if I can find one of these switches I'll buy it, install it in the office somewhere and wait to see if anyone ever says anything.

    Hi,

Funny as it is it is kinda sad for the genuine believers that a lot of peoples impressions of the church is what it seems has dominated the press in recent years with all the child molestation etc that has gone on. ( It might still be going on for what I or anyone else really knows)

I also see that it has what looks like an raised lettering message on it "Honor thy Father and Mother" or something along those lines.

You only have to walk around your nearest Marina or large car park to see many examples of this -anywhere in the world.

I have photos of various projects where the designers/engineers had their grey matter in neutral. I don't recall which ones were given to me in confidence so I won't send them off to be posted. I have one of a structural I-beam running through a carefully cut and installed piece of glass. The building was designed in metric, the engineers drew in US measure and the constructor just put it together the best that he could. I have a photocopy of the original construction cost estimate, the estimates to correct all the problems and a final invoice for demolition. That photo and the others in that file have saved many many dollars worth of potential mistakes since I pick one a quarter and have it hung in various places in the office as a reminder to all.

I phoned the electrical contractor that we normally do business with and described the switch and he knew right away what I was talking about. When he got over laughing about me actually wanting to order one he said that he had no idea where to obtain one but that he'd get someone looking on Monday. He also noted that he'd seen a photo of this switch but that the toggle had a small neon light inside it. The mind boggles.:D

This has nothing to do with religion. It was just some dumb twit trying to make a buck off someone's beliefs.
