Proteksan & Turquoise 60.20-meter "Yogi"​

Turkish yacht manufacturer Proteksan & Turquoise is well underway in finishing one of their next yachts. The 60.20-meter NB49 yacht is now known as "Yogi" and is expected to be launched and delivered in 2011. Yogi is also expected to join the fleet of charter yachts roaming the oceans once completed.

The 792 tonne yacht is being built to comply with the MCA (MCA ; LY2). Yogi has an impressive beam of just under 10-meters sure to provide ample space for lavish charter guests. The indoor and exterior space, personal and public remains abundant while giving guests the feel for utmost luxury in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

Yogi is expected to be able to host up to twelve guests in six well-appointed cabins. Of the many exciting features on board Yogi one of the most notable is a large swimming pool located on her stern on the main deck. Integrated into the floor of the pool is a sizable circular glass port that allows light to penetrate into the Beach Club directly below. Just forward of the Beach Club, there is a garage for a large tender stowed across the beam and not longitudinally as usual.

On the aft sun deck, there is a jacuzzi that almost appears to mirror the shape of the pool a few decks below. Around the exterior decks, built-in sun beds provide ample lounging for the sun worshiper. On the interior, the color code demands a rush of light tans balanced with white. Additionally, the interior has a very 'woody' aura to it as the style seems Asian inspired. All of this is juxtaposed to modernly designed furniture pieces.

When Yogi is completed, she will be another jewel in the crown for Proteksan & Turquoise. Boasting ample space, luxurious accommodations, relaxing public spaces, fun tenders and toys to experience on the water. Yogi mounts twin CAT 3512B engines anticipated to propel her to a top speed of 16 knots. From a tankage of approximately 100,000 LT of fuel, she is expected to have a range in the region of 4,000 nautical miles. Yogi charters in the Summer season of 2011 when completed.
