  1. Mangusta's 148' 'Oceano' megayacht

Overmarine's Mangusta brand recently had the pleasure of welcoming the first hull of a new series to their facilities. Last week the first hull of the Mangusta 148' 'Oceano' series arrived at the Viareggio yard in Italy.

She has been taken out of the water and moved into an indoor shed for outfitting and finishing. At the moment the current 148 Oceano model is just a bare shell and over the next many months will be stuffed with everything to match the latest offerings in style and function in the superyacht industry.

Hull one of the Mangusta 148 Oceano is 45.50-meters long and 9.20-meters wide with a 2.35-meter draught. Naval architecture was taken care of in-house by Overmarine while the exterior design was drawn by Stefano Righini Design. The interior accommodation for guests is to be set up with a Master stateroom, two double, two twin and 2 Pullman berths. For the nine crew, five cabins will be available.

Twin MTU 12V 4000 M53R engines are mounted to power her. Top speed for this displacement yacht is expected to be 15 knots. 12 knots is the cruising speed with fuel tank capacity of 74,000 LT.
