  1. Hanseatic Marine 77-meter "Smeralda" superyacht

A new superyacht is currently under construction and nearing completion at Hanseatic Marine. She is the third installment in what can be called the 'SilVer'-series which started with the 73-meter "SilVer", now called "Rabdan" in 2007. She was followed by the 73-meter "SilVer Zwei" in 2009, a vessel that further highlighted the series' speed and fuel efficiency for a yacht of this size. The speed and fuel efficiency was first noted on SilVer Zwei's delivery cruise from Australia (where she was built) to Dubai where she transited in 12 days at just under 20-knots.

Another superyacht from this pedigree of lineage is about to come into being in the not-too-distant future. The third hull in this series is called "Smeralda" and while being a near sister she is actually larger than her sisters. Smeralda stretches to 77-meters while the sisters are approximately 73-meters.

Smeralda will be a powerful lady toting twin MTU engines that likely push her to near 30-knots top speed. With speed also comes efficiency as it only relates to this particular yacht. Imagine a 4,500 nautical mile range continuously at 18-knots!

On the interior Smeralda will be a wonder, seducing her guests with creative arrangement and styling in social and private spaces. Walnut features prominently on the interior and for guests there are nine-cabins and a Owner's suite. Smeralda will be another welcomed addition to the superyacht world. She is currently up for sale and you can look out for her completion in the Spring of 2012.
