  1. Conrad Yachts 115' motor sailer

Polish yard Conrad Yachts are currently building a 115-foot long ketch-rigged motor sailer. An interesting team of industry professionals have come together to design all-round, the aesthetics and working functions of this new yacht that is set to stand out among the many sail yachts of the world.

Dutch design and Naval Architect studio Vripack are onboard with this project as well as Polish Naval Architect Juliusz Strawinski in addition to German design studio Newcruise and the in-house team at Conrad Yachts together make a power team.

The new Conrad 115 is being built to meet both Lloyd's Register and MCA class requirements. She is being described as a family sail cruiser to be optimized for safe long distance sailing with the family giving all the advantages of a sailing yacht with a more than respectable beam to make conditions onboard comfortable.

Special features that will be onboard the Conrad 115 motor sailer are captive hydraulic winches, trimming cylinders to help with sail management. There will be a nice pool on the bow just behind the automatic roller furlers. Her superstructure design is also to be noted, beautifully sculpted aimed to catch the eye.

Inside, she boasts a sophisticated contemporary interior design concentrating on earthy tones with squared-off furniture pieces. On the aft, outside, there is a wide hydraulic bathing platform to entice guests to come closer to the water. She is being built in aluminum to a designed tonnage just under 200 (196.7 tonnes). 35.30-meters is her LOA, 8.62-meters is her BOA and a sleek draught of just 3.00-meters round out her brief specifications.
