  1. New Build Canados Oceanic 90 Fast Explorer sold

The first Oceanic 90-foot Fast Explorer yacht by Canados under construction has been sold! If you were thinking about buying that one, it is not available anymore however, you may be able to see it on display at this years Cannes Boat Show later in the year. The vessel is well advanced in construction with delivery expected to take place in June 2014. The overall aim expected for for a yacht of this type is to offer the owner with a vessel that is higher performance in nature while still allowing lower-than-usual fuel consumption. Additionally, the ability to carry sizable toys and tenders generally not allowed on a sub 100-foot motoryacht. Better communion with the ocean is expected to be increased with planned communication with indoor and outdoor regions on the three decks.
  2. The standard Oceanic Yachts 90-footer, which represents the first hull sold, is available in a diesel version with two Caterpillar C32 Acert engines coupled to conventional straight shafts (STS model). The hull design incorporates twin steps that significantly reduce the hydrodynamic resistance at cruising speed (24-knots) and produces a top speed of 27 to 28-knots. The "DiElec" model – which stands for Diesel-Electric propulsion – is a true innovation of the Oceanic range. In this version, the 90' can run either on its two Caterpillar engines coupled to Fortjes pods with counter rotating propellers for speeds up to 28-knots or, alternately, on its two electric motors powered by generators.

Some of the amenities offered by the first yacht currently under construction is an upper deck owner’s suite with private terrace. On the lower deck there is a VIP as well as two cabins for guests that will be onboard. three to four crew members can be hosted in two cabins. The interior concept is the work of the in-house studio at Canados as well as the inputs of the new owner. The concept called for the utilization of sought-after woods like Limed Oak , Macassar Ebony , Wengé and Bamboo floors. The exterior features a long aft deck that is flexible and has room to store a main tender up to 6.50-meters. The garage in the transom can also store a smaller tender or two PWCs.
