AB Yachts 140 express yacht "Green Star"​

"Green Star" is another AB Yachts 140 with a launching time due for 2011. Exterior design comes by Fipa Italiana Yachts. Guido de Groot worked on the interior. The composite yacht has been built using vinilester construction.

The LOA is 42-meters with a beam of 8.00-meters. 165-tonnes is her fully loaded displacement and all of that comes with an insane top speed of nearly 50 knots depending on which engine option is utilized. For the higher end speeds three MTU 3,700 horse power engines are optional. Top speed with the other engine package of three MTU 2,400 horse power is around 41 knots. Depending on which engine package used the cruising range can be around 650 nautical miles.

She is being called Green Star simply because constructed to RINA Green Star standards which is essentially an additional notation to the RINA class. There are rooms for seven crew members. Four large cabins are situated on the lower deck for guests.
