    Hi All,

    I would like to know if anyone here knows of an impressed current system that could be retrofitted to a GROCO strainer? I currently use a GROCO SA300 series sea strainer for my chilled water condensor cooling circuit. The chilled water system has four five ton compressors, and my cooling pumps run 24/7 365. Just curious if anyone has seen anything out there that would keep growth down in the strainer, i've seen these systems on larger sea chests but never on a smaller strainer like i'm working with now. Any and all advice appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Put a few Bromine tablets in the sea-strainer for the raw water on the air conditioning. It will keep your growth down for a month until they've dissolved.
