Good article K1W1: I won't have to deal with it but my grandkids will. Are you aware that they are allowing fracking in the Great Lakes basin I really can't believe that the small amount of natural gas that is collectable from this incredibly stupid practice is worth the risk to the largest fresh water reserve in north america.

Hi, Also a good article Lars. I was reading in the press the other day that BO has asked US Automakers to get something like 55 mpg by 2020 I think it was. It was said this would add a couple of thousand to the cost of engines, if it were just the engine that has to be modified to achieve this remarkable economy, imagine what could be achieved by reducing the mass of the vehicle as well. R and D into this could be partly funded by taxing Gas Guzzlers.
