I am considering purchasing a 1989 chroy lee 83 footer in Seattle. The hydralic sterring has been worked on and still does operate properly after several attempts. This goes back several years I am told.

Should I replace with electronic or work further on the hydralic system. I am told it has a 1inch line and that is too much fluid to work properly

$7,000 has been spent already trying to correct the problem latley

    Any comments

    Thank you

Not really enough information to respond. What is "improper operation" and what has been done to correct it?

    What did that $7000 buy?

And what brand and components does it have installed?
