    Greetings group-This is an article I did for Tradeaboat in New Zealand. I don't change engines any more, but the system I present here has worked dependably many times.

    It revolves around mesuring the old engine and making the conversion rails before removing the old engine.

    The artilce explains it in detail. You might have to use ctl+ to zoom to read or study the photos.

    Also notice the use of the laser tempature gauge. That is an important bit and I recomend every yacht to carry one. The cheap ones are down to twenty five bucks and can exactly point to the problem in an overheating engine.
