Does anyone know how many newer (after 2002) 50's were built? I can only recall seeing a few 2005's and one 2004 for sale over the last few years. I assume they were still building the 50 at the same time as the 53 up to 2007?

Good luck trying to get any information out of Worton Creek!

It really is unfortunate that Worton Creek didn’t do anything with the brand. So sad to think of the potential for continuation…

I'm confused, I was under the impression they were building Posts again. I've spoken to staff at Worton Creek and they have been very helpful regarding finding parts for my 1990 46...

Nothing has been built or even started to my knowledge. They took over the website, had at least one rendezvous at Worton Creek, but nothing else has happened. I believe someone on this forum said that Worton Creek was willing to give a good price for the first of the new Posts built but there has not been anyone to sign a contract yet. Maybe this has changed, I hope so.

Can’t blame them for not wanting to build a spec boat on speculation that it will sell. I believe there is a thread with more details in this forum.

I have also had decent luck speaking to them. They are still making parts from some of the molds (deck hatches for one). They even called up an old Post employee for me and asked them about something on my 76 and called me back with the info.

I own hull 50-100, the last 50 they built. The hull was cast in 2006. I bought it new in 2007 and still run it today. Somewhat amazing that they built 100 50’ Posts and they completed hull 100 in their 50th year of business. She came with a custom pillow. Pic attached. E47C806F-CE83-4C18-89DA-C55C6FC0B2B7.jpeg

I just closed on hull #98 last Friday so we'll have to compare notes. It's the first one with the 53' cockpit bulkhead.
